Speaking of science, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is looking for a Program Associate in the Research Competitiveness Program (RCP). The Program Associate will report to the Director of RCP. The Program Associate will work in RCP to collaborate on implementing innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and to support RCP’s peer-review and workshop programs. Specific areas of responsibility include contribution to the design and announcement of the competitions; recruiting reviewers; coordinating workshop implementation; building interest and participation in the competition through social networking; supporting the technical implementation of the community voting process; and on-site program implementation support competition finals. Chemonics seeks a grants associate for Turkey, who will play a support role in ensuring that program activities are implemented rapidly and effectively, in full compliance with projects regulations and policies. The grants associate will report directly to the grants manager, will work in coordination with other team members to ensure all administrative requirements for the grants in their portfolio are fulfilled. This will include ensuring the documentation in grant files is complete, preparing grant payment packages for review, preparing grant files for closeout, and assisting with grant payment projections on a monthly basis.
