Amazon is seeking a Senior Ethnographic/Qualitative Researcher to help them deliver impactful foundational research that illuminates new insights and opportunities to delight their customers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and conducting research using a range of methods, including field studies, diary studies, interviews, participatory design, and others. You will focus on answering meaty, complex questions and building deep understanding of our customers (and potential customers). Your research will uncover insights around their behaviors and attitudes, including how they make shopping decisions, what their needs and pain points are as they shop, and how they think about ambiguous notions like “value.” You’ll work closely with stakeholders in design, PM and engineering, and category and business teams to help drive thinking around how to better meet customer needs. You’ll design research studies that incorporate multiple methods in order to shine a light on areas we don’t yet understand, and you’ll tell memorable stories and write compelling deliverables that paint a rich picture of who our customers are and what they care about. Alternatively, you might be interested in a Proposal Development Specialist position with Bluesquare in Belgium. You will be responsible to organize the overall identification, preparation and submission of high quality offers/bids. Bluesquare is a leading social impact data company that provides highly specialized data system, data visualization, metrics, analytics and specialized services in social sector in low income economies. They are looking for a person that can help them better respond to market opportunities and boost their sales. You will manage the sales pipeline; monitor procurement, tender and other websites with tender/RFP; provide indications to the management on market evolution; coordinate and produce the offers/proposals (EOI, RFI, RFP, etc) response, and ensure the overall quality, completeness, coherence and accuracy of proposals, among other things.
